GPS has had a single signal since satellites were first launched in eth 70s. In September 2005, a new signal was launched - L2C. UNSW has a FPGA-based L1 receiver, and could receive the new signal if it had a L2C RF front end. This project aims to produce that front end, if possible by using the simplest option - modifying a front end for the existing L1 signal. Testing and validating teh circuit is also essential.
