New GPS satellites have, in addition to the "old" L1 signal, the new L2C signal, which has two sub-signals. To track each GPS signal, a code-locked loop and a carrier loop (e.g. PLL) are used. This project investigates whether receiver performance can be improved by using the L1 loops to aid teh L2C loops, and vice versa.
