Assisted GPS (AGPS) is a system where a server provides certain data to a GPS receiver (e.g. satellite Doppler frequencies) to accelerate its acquisition of satellite signals. This project investigates the opportunities of improving the accuracy of taht data by using WiFi. WiFi will be used as the data channel, but more importantly, the access point used by the client will know its location, so assistance data can be tuned to that point.
