Description:
This project aims to implement an obstacle-avoidance mechanism using computer vision. Two regular Internet cameras will be mounted on a small electric car and stream real-time images to a microcontroller. The data will be processed using an open-source computer vision library in order to construct a 3D map of the obstacles surrounding the car. Using the map, a navigation algorithm that avoids the obstacles will be developed.
