The new European satellite system, Galileo, uses more complicated signal structures than the existing US GPS system. To despread the spread-spectrum signals, a "correlator" circuit is used. This project aims to design one of these correlators and compare its performance with GPS. Using Matlab, various simulations can examine the acquisition, tracking and multipath performance.
